Information for Students:
Shepard Schools are state-approved private high school programs for classified students with behavioral and/or learning problems. We service students in Grades 7 & 8 and Grades 9 through 12. We are centrally located in historic Morristown, New Jersey. We service more than 125 high school and middle school age children.

Our school day is from 8:20 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. Transportation is provided by the sending public school district.

Academics:

  • Participation in Morris County Teen Arts Exhibition
  • Drama production in a professional theater setting
  • Winter and Spring Chorus Performances and a School-Wide Talent Show

Technology:

  • State of the art classrooms with computers, printers, laptops, DVD players and internet availability
  • Word processing equipment for each student to be used during school and at home

Behavior Incentives:

  • Comprehensive behavior management system, which includes a point program and access to a school store where students can purchase items as DVD’s, IPODs with their points.
  • Privilege incentives such as Bagel Breakfasts, Pizza Lunches, Chinese Buffet Lunches, Fishing Trips, Sports Outings, etc.
