The Shepard Schools, two state-approved programs for classified students, are making a difference in alternative education for students who have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and other behavioral concerns. Academic achievement, employment, community service and mainstreaming are realities for Shepard students. Centrally located in historic Morristown, New Jersey, the Shepard Schools serve more than 125 high school aged students. The programs feature a strong structured behavior modification system, counseling and parental communication to provide quality education and build academic achievement and self-esteem in children with a history of underachievement in school.
